The travels of Brammers, part something ridiculous

In the land of successes, I posted two boxes this morning, which should hopefully deal with my overweight baggage issues, and caught up with the gorgeous auntpurl for morning tea. Also, my flight is allegedly on time. In the land of argh, I have failed to do at least five things I really wanted to do in London, including seeing vashtan , so I will have to be back soon. Actual soon, not usual me soon. I am tired, deranged, and have such bags under my eyes that Louis Vuitton is considering using my face as a model for next season. Worse, Qantas say they feel I should not leave my gate in Germany, as things are dodgier there and they would like to have me around to leave asap if the weather closes in and the plane is there. I fear we are doomed, catsintheattic !  Will try to message or call you! But the Rembrandt is a genuinely lovely hotel at a very good price for what and where it is, and I have V&A-ed almost to my heart's content. I have the best friends and flist known to humankind, and London has actually been lovely, even with all the madness of the last nearly two days. All in all, I declare this day a possible success, and will upgrade it is I find myself in Sydney within the next 35 hours. Hell, 40, it's Christmas, I can be generous.

Right, off to grab a cab and escape Bing bloody Crosby.

It was so very lovely to meet you and spend some time sipping and gabbing. :) Safe travels and do call if you need anything while you're still here!

Good luck!

I haven't been around LJ much, so I haven't kept up with your posts ... hopefully you had much fun, and that you make it home in plenty of time for Christmas. *hugs*

At least we got to talk for a few minutes on the phone. :-)

Next time, there will be more time.

Good luck and save travelling to you on your next 35 hours home. *hugs*

Good luck escaping Bing and returning to Oz. Safe trips and happy flying! Or any flying!!! The thoughts of an entire Venn diagram intersection of museum fans, grammar purists, and H/D slashers go with you.

*fingers crossed*

Of course you shouldn't leave your gate in Germany - what's the point in buying a gate if you're just going to leave it somewhere?

*rolls eyes*

Have a good, safe, and undelayed trip home, honey. We may even put on some half decent weather for you when you get here. :D

I just saw your comment on Rai's post ...

*hugs you*

At least you're still in London, and not - elsewhere.

Besides, you didn't REALLY want to come back to Aus, did you?

Poor honey. What's the news?
