I solemnly swear I am up to no acts of domestic terorism
But I do need to know a bit about using C-4 explosives. For a story I am working on. Just basic things, such as the amount you would need to blow a hole in a wall without blowing up everything in the room the wall was part of. And what density of object you would need to hid behind were you in said room.

Normally I'd turn to my Googlefu, but I have a cat in one hand and a reasonable suspicion that Echelon tracks me already thanks to my many Bush jokes and botanical poisons expertise ...

Anyone?

*giggles*

I would offer to google it for you but since I'm a Security, Terrorism and Counterterrorism student and use the internet for research a lot I have a feeling I may be on some lists as well...

Have you tried askig Ianulfr?

I have a feeling that he might have some idea or know where to aks without arousing suspicion.

You're right! The CPD is on the case, but if he cannot solve it, our fave geologist will be my next stop. Cheers dear! And I failed to call last night due to crashing and burning until midnight after I made it home. Zzzzzzzz...

The CPD can help and says "what sort of wall and how big is the room".

No idea. But it would be useful information to have. ;)

Why not try posting at little_details?

Oh, good idea! My friend reminds me that her partner is an engineer, I will report back if he is able to help!

TV tells me four butter sized blocks will blow up a car.

I suspect this may be a tad off though ;)
blamebramptonblamebrampton on July 8th, 2009 11:31 am (UTC)
I'm sure it will, just how much of the surrounding street it takes with it is what's bothering me ;-)

According to TV it was enough to blow up the car but not hurt the man pushing the button just 20ish metres in front. Nor the pile of crapped out cars 2m behind. This was in a junk yard.

It is fo realz I'm sure.

Oh and the explosion was mainly vertical.

Not that there would have been any careful rigging to achieve that effect at all.

Oooh, same tv show just suggested also that a handful will do the trick.

Are you sure you're not up to some domestic terrorism? Not that Australia needs any, but that gosh darn New Zealand has been looking mighty suspicious for a while now... *G*
